STEP 1 - Powering on your Bugcount analyzer
Plug the USB-C cable into the port on the back of the Analyzer.
Plug the other end into your computer.
Press the power button.
Wait for the home screen to appear.
STEP 2 - Access Relay™
Open Relay™ in your browser at relay.luminultra.com
Log in or sign up to create your new account credentials.
Relay™ includes built-in Guided Tours that provide step-by-step instructions, directly within the platform. These tours help users quickly complete setup and testing without needing detailed written instructions.
If this is your first time using Relay™, screen prompts will automatically appear to guide you through the initial setup steps.
These guided tours ensure your device, sites, and sample locations are properly configured before running a test.
To access the guided tours at any time:
Click the blue question mark icon (?) in the bottom-right corner of the Relay interface.
Select Guided Tours.
Choose the walkthrough topic you would like to complete.
STEP 3 – Connect the Bugcount analyzer
If this is your first time connecting your Bugcount analyzer, you will need to install the Windows-provided driver before using it with Relay™.
Go to your Windows Optional Updates settings if prompted to complete the driver installation.
- Once the driver is installed, Relay™ will guide you through connecting your Bugcount analyzer to the platform.
Using the Device Setup Guided Tour, Relay™ will walk you through:
Detecting your Bugcount analyzer device
Installing any required drivers (if not already installed)
Confirming the device connection
Follow the prompts in Relay™ to complete the connection.
These steps ensure your Bugcount analyzer is properly recognized by Relay™ and ready for testing.
STEP 4 – Set up Sites and Locations
Before running a test, you will need to create Sites and Locations in Relay™.
These allow you to organize test results by facility, process area, or sampling point.
Relay’s Sites and Locations Guided Tour will walk you through:
Creating a Site
Adding sampling Locations within that site
Selecting the applicable Test kit
Follow Guided Tours 2 and 3 in Relay™ to complete this setup.
STEP 5 – Run a test
Once your Bugcount analyzer device and locations are configured, you can begin testing.
Select Run a Test in Relay.
Follow the on-screen guided workflow.
Relay will guide you through:
Taking the calibration reading
Entering required test information
Saving the results
All readings are performed by the Bugcount analyzer device, while Relay™ automatically calculates and securely stores ATP results online.
