The features described below are only available via the web browser version of the Test + Analyze area of myLuminUltra.
- Log into the "Test + Analyze" area of myLuminUltra.
- Choose the site name you wish to analyze from the left hand side menu
- Click on the "Analyze" tab
- Click on the "Customize Chart" button
- Choose the location and data types that you wish to analyze. You can analyze up to 5 locations and 4 data types.
- Click "apply" to see your data graph.
- Under the data graph you will also see 4 tabs with 4 analysis tools:
-
- Shifting - This tool can be applied individually to each data set and allows the user to shift the data forwards and backward in time, plus or minus 30 days. This allows for correlations to be observed where there may be a lag in the cause/effect relationship.
- Y-Axis Range - This option allows the user to manually adjust the y-axis range.
- Smoothing -This tool returns an average for the data entries at every single data point. This effectively reduces background noise, smoothing our trend lines, and enables clearer identification of trends.
- Correlation - The correlation coefficient is a statistical definition of the relationship between 2 data sets. The correlation coefficient ranges from -1 to +1, with negative values indicating an inverse relationship (an increase in one variable corresponds to a decrease in the second variable) and a positive value indicating a direct relationship (an increase in one variable corresponds to an increase in the second variable). The closer to +1 or -1, the stronger the correlation with 0 corresponding to no correlation. The correlation function uses a default smoothing of 25 – adjusting the smoothing and shifting will change the correlation
