Firmware version 004 (released November 2nd, 2026) is the first major firmware update for your Bugcount One ATP Analyzer, delivered through Relay in a few clicks. It refines timekeeping, calibration, and battery display, so the analyzer keeps pace with the way you work.
Improvements
Battery icon and charging
Firmware 004 improves the accuracy of the battery icon and the analyzer's charging behaviour. The icon also holds its place on screen at every time of day.
Clock and calibration timing
Updated clock handling keeps your test timestamps and calibrations accurate throughout the day.
Background and calibration readings
The analyzer now consistently retains and applies your background and calibration readings between tests on every test kit, so you can move straight from one test to the next within a testing session.
Other improvements
Firmware 004 also includes minor display refinements across several test kits.
Before you update
Any stored test results will stay on the analyzer through the update. As a best practice, back up your stored test results into Relay first; Relay guides you through the import and provides you with a secure copy of your data.
The update takes a few minutes, and requires an internet connection. Keep the analyzer connected until it finishes.

How to update
- Connect your Bugcount analyzer to Relay at https://relay.luminultra.com/.
- Go to Administration > Bugcount Analyzer > Firmware Updates.
- Select Auto Update. Relay installs firmware 004 for your analyzer.
